Data Sources

WHO/CDC International: Based on the WHO Child Growth Standards (2006) developed from the WHO Multicentre Growth Reference Study (1997-2003) conducted in 6 countries (Brazil, Ghana, India, Norway, Oman, USA). Represents optimal growth under ideal health conditions.

Hong Kong 2020: Based on the Hong Kong Growth Survey 2020-22 conducted by Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Hong Kong. Represents growth patterns of contemporary Hong Kong children of Chinese ethnicity.
